Role overview

We are looking for a Webflow Developer who can transform strategy and design into fast, scalable, and well built websites.

This role focuses on developing custom websites in Webflow that help businesses communicate clearly, build trust, generate leads, and support long term growth. You will be responsible for turning approved designs into responsive, production ready websites while maintaining high standards for performance, usability, accessibility, and maintainability.

You will work closely with designers, strategists, marketers, SEO specialists, and project managers throughout the development process. Your role is not simply to recreate designs. You will help identify technical opportunities, improve user experiences, solve implementation challenges, and contribute to the overall quality of every project.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in clean builds, organized systems, thoughtful implementation, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate understands both the technical and business side of websites and can make development decisions that support project goals.

What you'll be working on

Our projects range from marketing websites and lead generation websites to service company websites, landing pages, SEO focused websites, and larger content driven platforms.

You will be responsible for building responsive Webflow websites that balance visual quality, usability, performance, and maintainability.

Projects may involve custom interactions, CMS architecture, dynamic content, third party integrations, custom code implementation, SEO requirements, accessibility improvements, and ongoing website enhancements.

The goal is always the same: building websites that perform well for both businesses and their customers.

Core responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

• Developing websites from approved Figma designs

• Building responsive layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices

• Creating scalable class structures and component systems

• Implementing CMS collections and dynamic content

• Developing reusable components and page structures

• Writing custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when required

• Implementing animations and interactions

• Integrating third party tools and platforms

• Supporting SEO implementation requirements

• Improving website performance and page speed

• Troubleshooting technical issues and bugs

• Testing websites across browsers and devices

• Maintaining project organization and documentation

• Supporting website updates and enhancements

• Collaborating with internal teams throughout project delivery

How development fits into our work

Development plays a central role in bringing strategy, design, SEO, and marketing efforts together.

A website is often the primary place where potential customers evaluate a business. The quality of the build directly impacts user experience, trust, search visibility, maintainability, and future growth.

Your role is not simply to develop pages. You will help ensure that every website is built in a way that supports business goals, user needs, and future scalability.

Strong candidates understand that development decisions influence both technical performance and business outcomes.

Technical expectations

We are looking for developers who can build confidently within Webflow while understanding the underlying technologies that power the web.

You should be comfortable evaluating designs, identifying implementation challenges, proposing solutions, and maintaining a high level of quality throughout the project.

Strong candidates pay attention to structure, consistency, responsiveness, accessibility, and maintainability rather than focusing only on visual accuracy.

You should be comfortable making technical recommendations when opportunities for improvement exist.

Team collaboration

This role is highly collaborative.

You will work closely with designers, strategists, marketers, SEO specialists, project managers, and business owners throughout projects.

You should be comfortable:

• Participating in project planning discussions

• Reviewing designs before development begins

• Collaborating with designers on implementation details

• Working alongside SEO and marketing teams

• Providing technical recommendations

• Communicating development constraints clearly

• Reviewing project requirements and priorities

• Supporting projects through launch and post launch improvements

Strong communication skills are important because development decisions often affect multiple areas of a project.

Skills and experience

We are looking for candidates with strong technical skills and a deep understanding of Webflow development.

Required skills:

• Advanced Webflow development

• Responsive web development

• HTML

• CSS

• JavaScript

• CMS architecture and implementation

• Cross browser testing

• Website performance optimization

• Accessibility fundamentals

• Technical troubleshooting and debugging

• Strong attention to detail

• Organization and documentation

Nice to have:

• GSAP

• SEO implementation experience

• Figma proficiency

• API integrations

• Custom code integrations

• Webflow Logic

• Website migration experience

• Conversion rate optimization principles

• User experience fundamentals

The ability to build scalable websites that remain easy to manage over time is especially valuable.

Problem solving and decision making

Many projects require balancing design requirements, technical limitations, business goals, SEO considerations, and user experience.

You should be comfortable identifying issues before they become problems and proposing solutions that improve the final result.

We value developers who think beyond implementation and contribute ideas that improve project quality, efficiency, and long term maintainability.

Strong candidates are proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working through technical challenges independently.

Organization and workflow

You will often contribute to multiple projects at the same time.

Strong organization is important for maintaining quality and consistency across active projects.

You should be comfortable:

• Managing multiple deadlines

• Prioritizing tasks effectively

• Maintaining organized project structures

• Following established workflows

• Documenting important implementation details

• Tracking progress across projects

• Communicating blockers early

• Working independently when needed

Understanding business goals

The websites we build are designed to support real business objectives.

You should understand how development influences lead generation, customer trust, search visibility, conversion opportunities, content management, and overall website performance.

The strongest developers understand that technical decisions should support broader business goals rather than exist solely for technical reasons.

What success looks like

Success in this role is measured by the quality, consistency, and reliability of the websites you build.

Strong performance includes:

• Delivering high quality Webflow builds

• Maintaining strong responsiveness across devices

• Producing clean and scalable project structures

• Identifying and resolving technical issues efficiently

• Communicating effectively with team members

• Contributing positively to project delivery

• Maintaining attention to detail

• Supporting successful website launches

Growth opportunities

As you develop within the role, you will have opportunities to take ownership of larger projects, contribute to technical standards, improve internal systems, and play a greater role in shaping how development is approached across the agency.

We value people who take initiative, improve processes, share knowledge, and consistently raise the quality of work around them.

Strong developers often become trusted technical leaders who help guide projects and improve the overall quality of execution.

Working with us

We are a lean digital agency that believes great work comes from clear thinking, strong execution, and close collaboration.

Our work combines branding, websites, SEO, and marketing into a connected system designed to help businesses grow. Development plays a critical role in helping bring that system to life.

We value ownership, accountability, curiosity, problem solving, and continuous improvement. We care less about titles and processes and more about building websites that help clients achieve meaningful business results.
