We're hiring an experienced Google Ads Manager to plan, launch, and optimize paid search campaigns that generate measurable leads, customers, and revenue for our clients. You'll own several accounts at once, work independently, and collaborate with strategists, designers, developers, and project managers throughout each engagement.
Our clients span a range of industries and business models, so we need someone who can quickly understand a business, identify where the growth opportunity sits, and build a strategy around that rather than a standard template. The strongest candidates pair analytical rigor with practical execution, and they understand how paid advertising connects to a client's broader business goals, not just platform-level metrics.
What you'll do
You'll be responsible for planning, building, and optimizing campaigns across Search, Display, Performance Max, and YouTube. Work spans ongoing account management as well as full audits and restructures when an account needs more than incremental optimization.
- Planning, building, and optimizing campaigns across Search, Display, Performance Max, and YouTube
- Conducting keyword research and competitor analysis
- Setting up and validating conversion tracking
- Managing budgets and bid strategy
- Auditing existing accounts and recommending restructures
- Writing and testing ad copy
- Reporting on performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
What you bring
You'll need strong analytical skills and deep experience managing Google Ads accounts, along with the judgment to determine when a metric reflects real performance and when it doesn't.
Required:
- Google Ads campaign management
- Keyword research and targeting
- Search campaign optimization
- Conversion tracking implementation
- Campaign budgeting and bid management
- Performance analysis and reporting
- Account auditing and optimization
- Audience targeting and segmentation
- Google Analytics fundamentals
Nice to have:
- Performance Max and YouTube advertising experience
- Google Tag Manager and GA4
- Landing page optimization and A/B testing
- CRM integration and call tracking platforms
- Attribution modeling
- Copywriting for paid advertising
How you'll work
Most accounts require balancing budget constraints, lead quality, conversion rates, and competitive pressure simultaneously, and these factors rarely move independently of one another. When performance dips, we expect you to identify the underlying cause rather than adjust the nearest setting. You'll typically manage multiple accounts at once, so staying organized, documenting your findings, and communicating issues early matter as much as any individual optimization.
You'll collaborate closely with strategists, developers, designers, marketers, and project managers depending on the project, and you'll be expected to support your recommendations with data.
Who thrives in this role
Professionals who take ownership of their accounts, enjoy analyzing performance data, and communicate proactively tend to succeed here. This role suits people who stay current with platform changes, manage deadlines independently, and take pride in results that show up in the numbers, not just in campaign activity.
Growth opportunities
As our client base grows, contributors who consistently perform well take on larger budgets, more complex account structures, and longer-term client relationships, along with more ownership of account strategy over time.
