TEKA Enterprises Inc. had built a strong reputation throughout New York City for being dependable, trustworthy, and professional. The company had completed a wide range of commercial and residential construction projects and had established itself as a reliable partner for clients across the region. The problem was that their website failed to communicate any of that.
The existing website felt outdated and did not reflect the scale of projects the company was capable of delivering. As TEKA continued to pursue larger commercial and residential opportunities, leadership felt their digital presence was becoming a barrier rather than an asset. The website was often one of the first touchpoints potential clients encountered, yet it did little to communicate the company's experience, professionalism, or capabilities.

The company's CEO, Teddy N. Kavourgias, approached us to help create a website that better aligned with the business they had become and the projects they wanted to attract moving forward.
Discovery
Our discovery process focused heavily on understanding the future direction of the company rather than simply redesigning the existing website.
Teddy made it clear that TEKA wanted to focus on larger commercial and residential construction projects. To support that goal, the website needed to communicate confidence, experience, and scale. We discussed the types of projects that should be featured, the impression the company wanted to leave on prospective clients, and the role the website would play in supporting business development.
By the end of the discovery phase, we had identified several key objectives for the new website:
- Showcase completed projects
- Feature a homepage background video
- Create a modern visual direction
- Highlight company achievements
- Allow prospective employees to submit resumes
- Incorporate original photography throughout the website
Strategy
One of the biggest challenges was that TEKA had completed impressive projects, but much of that work was not being effectively presented online.
Rather than relying on stock imagery or generic construction visuals, we decided the website should be built around real projects, real people, and real environments. This would allow prospective clients to immediately see the quality and scale of the company's work while creating a more authentic representation of the business.
Website design and development

We began by creating three separate design directions for review. Each explored a different visual approach while maintaining the professionalism expected from a construction company pursuing larger projects.
Once the preferred direction was selected, we moved into development. While the website was being built, we worked closely with Teddy to gather the written content needed for each page and coordinated plans for both photography and video production.
The objective was to create a website that felt established, capable, and trustworthy without relying on exaggerated claims or unnecessary complexity.
Background video

To help immediately communicate the company's work, we wanted visitors to encounter construction activity as soon as they landed on the website.
An active construction project inside a New York City building provided the perfect opportunity to capture footage for the homepage background video. During the shoot, we documented the team at work and created visual content that helped communicate the professionalism and scale of TEKA's operations.
The final video added movement and energy to the website while reinforcing the company's hands on involvement in complex construction projects.
Project photography

A major opportunity identified during the project was the lack of professional photography showcasing TEKA's completed work.
To address this, we visited completed projects throughout New York City and photographed both interior and exterior spaces. These images became an important part of the website, helping demonstrate the quality of construction, attention to detail, and variety of projects completed by the company.
By using photography from actual projects rather than stock imagery, the website gained credibility and provided prospective clients with a much clearer understanding of TEKA's capabilities.
Launch

With the content finalized, photography completed, and video integrated throughout the experience, the website was ready to launch.
The finished website gave TEKA a digital presence that more accurately reflected the company behind it. Their completed projects, achievements, and expertise were now presented in a way that aligned with the scale of work they wanted to pursue. The result was a website designed not only to look more professional, but to better support the company's long term business goals and help position them for larger opportunities in the future.
